• BoP consumers have a small and daily budget. But together they create an enormous market. New business models are needed. Micro franchising, micro leasing, micro credit, etc...
• No well developed distribution channels. New alternatives like NGO’s, school, new entrepreneurs
• High tech combined with low tech, western production combined with local production
• Simultaneous development of product (service) system and business model
• Co-design, participatory design.....
