ConnectED2010's association with the Design Educators Forum of South Africa (DEFSA) was aimed at addressing design in relation to development and a truly globalised design economy.

The four-day program took place between 28 June - 1 July 2010 in Sydney, and  provided delegates with the opportunity to learn and exchange ideas with a focus on its practice and potential for the future in a global context of cultural boundary crossing.
